You see, starting out as a coach or consultant is sometimes very exciting.
You think of the lives you are going to impact, the revenue you will generate and the good life you want to live.
You are clear about your vision, how to get clients and every other thing.
However, things don’t seem to work as you envisage after you start.
You are even thinking of abandoning everything and pulling out.
One piece of advice I have for you is this…
TRUST THE PROCESS.
A child doesn’t begin to walk the day he/she is born.
There’s a process the child has to pass through before getting to walk.
Mind you as well, the child doesn’t just walk well immediately.
There are times when falling down and some cries will chip in.
It’s all part of the process.
I’m writing this because just on Saturday, a coach I have been working with for the past 3-4 months or thereabout made her first sale for her group coaching programme after a webinar we did.
We’ve been building the entire system, setting up lead generation funnels, adding massive value to the email list being built from scratch, spending money on Facebook ads and so many other things.
And yes, there were times we were discouraged.
But we kept trusting the process.
Since this is a path I have walked in the past, I assured her time and over again that it’s important we build the right foundation for what we are doing.
And she kept faith with it.
Now, we are happy and seeing the possibilities of getting more people in as we have begun to identify what works and what doesn’t.
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
Putting yourself out there enables you to know what works and what doesn’t.
So, if you are just starting out or you’ve already started out and things don’t seem to work, do a review and tweak what you do.
But most importantly, trust the process.
